libheif
Decodes HEIC and HEIF. Every conversion on this site runs through it — in your own browser, which is why nothing you convert is ever uploaded anywhere.
Shipped as libheif-js 1.19.8, a WebAssembly build of the reference library. We ship it exactly as published, as its own file, reached through a single wrapper — so it can be swapped for a different build of libheif without touching anything else here.
