Your photos never reach us

This is the whole policy in one line. Conversion happens inside your browser: your file is read from disk by the page, decoded, re-encoded, and handed back. It does not travel over the network at any point.

You do not have to take that on faith. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the network tab, and convert something. No request carries your image.

What we do not collect

No accounts, so no names, emails or passwords. No uploads, so no photographs. No analytics on what you convert, how many files, or what they are called — none of that reaches us because none of it leaves your machine.

What our host can see

The site is served by a hosting provider, and like every web server theirs records that a request happened — IP address, time, which file was requested, and the browser's user-agent string. That is ordinary web-server logging and it applies to the page itself, not to anything you convert.

We do not combine those logs with anything else, because there is nothing else to combine them with.

Third parties

If advertising or optional surveys are added to this site, they are operated by third parties who set their own cookies and collect their own data under their own policies. That is a separate matter from the converter, and this page will say plainly what is running and who runs it before any of it appears.

The converter's guarantee does not depend on that: your photos stay on your device regardless of what else is on the page.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the change will be described here rather than buried in a revision date. The architectural promise — that conversion is local — is not something we can change quietly, because anyone can verify it in their own browser.
